Statistics Reveal Mobile Gaming Industry Has Shown Huge Growth

Although the mobile gaming industry has progressed slowly in previous years, online gambling operators were ecstatic to discover that new reports revealing the 2010 industry figures have shown its major growth.   Players who enjoy accessing their favorite casino games via their Blackberry, iPhone, Android, etc. are now engaging in online gambling activities with their mobile devices more than they ever did before.

Statistics that were released this week revealed that there was a 21% boost in online gambling figures at the start of the 2010 fiscal year.  While this boost did not include mobile gaming activities specifically, it was found that the overall percentage of mobile gaming surpassed 650%, with sports book betting climbing to 797%.

In addition to this news, a great number of well known online casino brands have experienced a significant acceleration in mobile gaming simultaneously.  In fact, one notable operator announced a 200% raise in revenue (the equivalent of £6.5 million), as well as an increase in its mobile player memberships which exceeded 150%.
