Top Online Slots of 2011

Two Microgaming slots and entries from Playtech, Wagerworks and Cryptologic make up the top five slots of 2011.

Online software provider Microgaming proved it is still a market leader by securing first place in the latest list of the best online slots of 2011.

Its Gold Factory slot came top of the list, partly due to its enormous 7,500 coin jackpot and multi-level bonus game.

Second on the list is the Cryptologic powered Horns and Halos slot, while Playtech's King Kong slot, with its stunning bonuses, secured third place.

Microgaming's second entry on the list is at number four, with its Immortal Romance slot. This recently launched slot created quite a stir upon its release.

Finally, WagerWorks powered slot, Siberian Storm, rounds out the top 5. Its 720 ways of winning has proved very popular with players.

The top five faced fierce competition from rival slots, as 2011 boasted incredible advances in the gaming features and audio-visual content of slots games. Developers will be keen to see what 2012 will bring for the competitive online gaming market.
